Eight years ago, when my now-wife and I were planning to move to the Washington area for her new job, we started looking around at where we should live. It didn’t take long to realize that Arlington was the place for us. A year after moving down here, I was hired as Chief of Staff to Delegate Mark Levine, representing Arlington’s interests in the General Assembly. Over the years, I’ve gotten to know so many people involved in this community through politics, government, philanthropy, and business.
Everyone has been great and welcoming so far, and we’ve hit the ground running. This year’s General Assembly Session started my first week on the job, and I’ve already been down to Richmond to testify in support of our policy agenda. I’ve also given my first testimony before the Arlington County Board, successfully calling for the adoption of the Pentagon City Sector Plan. We have a lot more work to do in the months to come, particularly on housing, and I’m excited to work with all of you to move things forward for Arlington’s business community.
