2025 Trip to Japan

The Arlington Chamber of Commerce is excited to partner for the twelfth time with Citslinc International, Inc. to offer our members, and the community, a unique opportunity to travel to Japan with fellow business colleagues and community members. The trip will be departing from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. Shuttle service to and from DCA is included. 
 
From November 1 - 8, you will visit memorable sites, both ancient and modern, and enjoy a multitude of unforgettable experiences. Whether you’re interested in traveling for personal or professional reasons, this eight day trip provides an unparalleled opportunity. We are convinced that this will be one of the most unique trips you will ever take!

In addition to visiting memorable cities including Osaka and Tokyo, travelers will visit the Imperial Palace Edo Castle, the home of the Emperor of Japan, as well as Mt Fuji and Lake Yamanakako.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1 - Baltimore (BWI)/Osaka

  • Check in at Baltimore International Airport for a connection flight to Osaka.
  • ​Overnight on the flight.

Day 2 - Osaka

  • Change the connection flight and arrive at Osaka.
  • You will be met at the airport by your tour guide and transferred to the hotel. ​

Day 3 - Osaka/Nara/Kyoto

  • Start  with a full day city tour to explore the Osaka Castle Garden and visit the famous Shinsaibashi Shopping Area
  • Take an afternoon bus to Nara Deer Park then transfer to Kyoto to visit Fushimi Inari Shrine.

Day 4 - Kyoto

Full day city tour including:
  • Two UNESCO Heritage Site Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion) and Kiyomizo-dera
  • Hijo Castle
  • Gion Walking Tour

Day 5 - Kyoto/Mt Fuji/Lake Yamanakako

  • Bus tour to Mr Fuji
  • Take a cruise on Lake Yamanakako
  • Stay at hotel in Hakone Region

Day 6 - Hakone/Kanagawa/Tokyo

  • Transfer to the capital city of Tokyo.
  • Visit the Imperial Palace Edo Castle
  • Asakusa Kannon Temple (Sensoji Temple), a 7th century Buddhist temple
  • Nakamise Shopping Area for traditional Japanese food, souvenirs and novelty items. 

Day 7 -Tokyo

  • Sightseeing at Odaiba Seaside Park set at the bank of Tokyou Bay
  • Shopping at Tsukji Market, one of Japan's most iconic places for food and market lovers. 
  • Visit Meiji Jingu Shrine
  • Shibuya Crossing

Day 8 - Tokyo/Baltimore (BWI)

  • Depart from Tokyo.
  • Connection flight to Baltimore International Airport, where you will arrive on the same day.
