It’s been an exciting first few months here at the Chamber as the new Operations & Special Projects Coordinator! A born and raised North Carolinian, I moved to the area three-four months ago, right before starting to work for the Chamber. My fiancé was relocated here, which is why this became my new home! I’ve enjoyed exploring the area, but ready for some warmer weather. Before this role, I worked for my alma mater at Queens University of Charlotte, where I planned events in the Admissions office.

This opportunity with the Chamber has allowed me to become more engaged in the community and get to know the area. I’ve enjoyed attending the monthly events we hold, where I usually work registration, which helps me to put a face to a name! So far I’ve attended Business After Business, Breakfast Connection, and SMART Start just to name a few. All of the members I have met and worked with so far have been welcoming and helpful, and I look forward to connecting with even more members and growing the relationships I have already formed.
I am constantly gaining new skills at the Chamber, as well as learning from my co-workers. Everyone has been extremely supportive and helpful with my transition as the newest Chamber team member! I’m excited to continue growing professionally and becoming more involved in Arlington!
