Gala Recap
A Review of Arlington's Best Night Out
While all of Arlington was being attacked with snow and cold this weekend, nearly 300 of your business contemporaries descended upon The Ritz-Carlton, Pentagon City in style for a night of dancing, networking and fun. Saturday marked the 86th year of our Annual Business Gala. Here are a few images from the night for those who didn't brave the storm or otherwise couldn't make it:

Bob McCoy (Virginia Commerce Bank) and our 2010 Chair Philip Keating (Bean, Kinney & Korman, P.C.) started the night by posing with Doug Brammer (Verizon). Thanks to Verizon, the event's Grand Sponsor.

The night was full of Arlington's best and brightest business and association leaders 'dressed to the nines', as this trio will attest. Shannon Swahn (Select Printing and Copying), Joe Prentice (The State Department Federal Credit Union) and Arianna Gleckel (Bean, Kinney & Korman, P.C.) took a moment from the fun to pause for a photo.

Grace Shea (Lebanese Taverna) was thrilled to have the ticket she bought for the Tuscan Villa raffle judiciously drawn by The Honorable Paul Ferguson, Clerk of the Circuit Court. She'll get to spend seven nights in her pick of one of five traditional casas in the Tuscan country side.

While temperatures dipped below freezing and the roads received four inches of snow, Marymount University's group came out in force, showing the rest of Arlington that a little fluff wouldn't stop the party.
Kelly Cravens (Wachovia Bank, A Wells Fargo Company) and her husband, Chris, were lucky winners in the silent auction, taking home a wine and cheese basket.

Margaret McKeough (Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority) was enticed to bid on a signed Washington Capitals jersey in the live auction by an enthusiastic Joe Prentice (The State Department Federal Credit Union).
