Mark your calendars and register now for the ninth annual Volunteer Arlington Day -- an annual tradition that engages Chamber members in rewarding half-day service projects throughout the community.

This year's event will take place on Saturday, April 19 from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm. Alternatively, groups that prefer a weekday project can choose to volunteer on Earth Day -- Tuesday, April 22 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Individuals and groups of all sizes are encouraged to sign-up.  They'll be matched with a fun, hands-on project -- from painting, to landscaping an area park, to sorting food for the hungry.  Participants will receive a free Volunteer Arlington Day t-shirt and information about ongoing volunteer opportunities...not to mention the personal satisfaction that comes from working as a team and giving back.     

HOW BUSINESSES and NON-PROFITS CAN PARTICIPATE:

The Chamber's Community Action Committee is currently seeking NON-PROFIT CHAMBER MEMBERS to supply hands-on volunteer projects on April 19 and April 22.

Additionally, we need enthusiastic volunteers (teams or individuals) who would like to be matched with a Chamber-sponsored community project.
