distributes numerous publications to keep our members
and the community aware of what is happening in
Arlington. We communicate by:

The Arlingtonian –
Monthly newsletter that is mailed out to 1,700 Chamber members
and Community Leaders. View The Arlingtonian

Business Directory
– Classified listing of Chamber members with the
added benefit of special guide sections by general
business category. This is a great way to
learn more about Arlington.

Chamber Connections
– Monthly e-newsletter, sent out the third Monday of
each month, which highlights Chamber and local news,
upcoming Chamber events, and Save the Date items.

Press Releases – Produced
for upcoming events, Public Policy Positions, and
items that our Board of Directors wishes to convey
to the Arlington community.

Public Policy Positions – At
the end of each year, the Chamber’s Board of
Directors adopts its annual Public Policy Position
paper for distribution to Arlington’s General
Assembly delegation and the Arlington County Board.
The process begins in our Government
Affairs/Economic Development Committee with staff
assistance. The Committee produces a draft paper
that then is reviewed, and perhaps amended, by the
Chamber’s Executive Committee prior to submission to
our Board. Content of this document centers on
major policy positions as well as reaction to
selected positions in similar packages from the
Arlington County Board and the Arlington Public

Week at Your Chamber - Weekly e-newsletter,
sent out the first, second, and fourth Mondays of
each month, which highlights upcoming Chamber
events, committee meetings, and other miscellaneous
updates and announcements.
