large corporation, the Arlington Chamber of Commerce
offers benefits that are tailored to meet your needs.
Networking
The
Chamber hosts over 100 events and committee meetings
annually. Each of these events offers members the
opportunity to network with other Chamber members. This
is a great way to get to know decision makers and market
your company! Some networking events include:
Breakfast Connection,
Business After Business,
and SMART Start.
Government
Advocacy
The Chamber serves as a catalyst for change by bringing
both public and business leaders together to do
collectively what could not be done individually. The
Chamber supports its member organizations by performing
a critical function that many companies cannot afford to
do: lobbying for business interests. Since
businesses don’t vote, their main recourse is to express
their views where policy is made. Someone – some group –
must look our for the business community’s interests.
The Chamber considers this to be one of its most vital
roles. Community Involvement
The
Chamber and its membership recognize the importance of
staying active in the community where its members do
business. Through this involvement, the Chamber is able
to keep a hands-on approach to affecting positive
outcomes in the community. Get involved and join a committee!
Credentials
Each
member is given a membership plaque, which identifies
you as an organization that cares about the Arlington
business community and the community at large. The
plaque is a credential that identifies Arlington's
