Don't Waste Your Unused Tickets! Donate Them to Patriot Passes - HOOAH!
The Arlington Chamber of Commerce and Buck and Associates is proud to support PATRIOT PASSES for its second consecutive year. PATRIOT PASSES provides a means for corporations and individuals to show their support of our troops by donating unused tickets to enlisted soldiers stationed within the Fort Myer Military Community.

Working in coordination with the Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) Office, the initiative is designed to honor the service of our young men and women of the armed services by giving them an opportunity to enjoy much needed, appreciated, and unexpected free entertainment.

Individuals and corporations may donate to the initiative in three simple ways:

  •       Drop off donated tickets at the offices of Buck & Associates, located at 2519 Wilson Boulevard in Arlington. Donation envelopes are available 24/7.

  •       Express mail donated tickets directly to the Fort Myer MWR Marketing Office – via Fed Ex, UPS, DHL, or US Mail. The street address: 102 Custer Road, Bldng. 203, Fort Myer, VA 22211-1199. Phone: (703) 696-3419.

  •       Contact by phone or email to make special arrangements with the Fort Myer MWR Marketing Office at (703) 696-3419 or email Ft. Myer for more information.

Once the tickets are donated, Fort Myer MWR will distribute the free tickets according to the following procedure:

If fewer than 5 tickets, MWR will give the tickets to Garrison Chief Sergeant Major (CSM), who will then distribute them directly to enlisted soldiers.

If more than 5 tickets, MWR will distribute them in conjunction with a scheduled MWR event, if time permits, or distribute the tickets to enlisted personnel on a “first come, first served basis.” An email will be sent to all units notifying them when tickets are available.

Chamber Passes Resolution to Support Dominion Transmission Initiative
The Chamber recognizes the legitimate concerns that have been raised over the location of the proposed transmission power line, and supports Dominion's efforts to work with impacted communities in determining the best location for the transmission line and addressing its aesthetic impacts.

Northern Virginia's energy needs have grown by 40 percent in the last 10 years, and increasing population and technological evolution will require additional power capacity in the coming years.

The Chamber believes that an adequate energy supply is critical to the economic health of Arlington County and Northern Virginia. Dominion Virginia Power has demonstrated a clear need for additional energy transmission to meet the growing needs of the area. The Chamber supports Dominion's efforts to make the necessary capital improvements to accomplish this transmission initiative.
