Chamber Sponsors Arlington Teen Expo
Is your
company looking for summer intern assistance? Attend the
Arlington Employment Center's 2008 Teen Expo, sponsored by
the Chamber, where teens and employers can meet and
interview from 11am-1pm on Saturday, April 26 at the
Arlington Career Center. The expo is in its twelfth year,
and is the largest job fair centered around summer jobs in
the metro region. Last year more than 1,000 youths
interviewed with more than 60 employers for summer
employment and after school jobs.

New Online Filing Service for Businesses
Arlington Commissioner of
Revenue
Ingrid Morroy has announced a new online tax filing program
for businesses. Customers can now file their business license
and monthly meals tax returns online and pay at the same time
- without the need to complete or submit any paperwork! To
access accounts, business owners will enter their Federal
Employer Identification or Social Security Number and
their business account number. Once the return has been
electronically submitted and the corresponding taxes have been
paid, the system provides a confirmation for each process. To

TRD Update
This begins Week 6 of the 2008
Total Resource Development (TRD) Campaign. Volunteers have
