At the end of each year, the Chamber's Board of Directors adopts its annual Public Policy Position paper for distribution to Arlington's General Assembly delegation and the Arlington County Board. The process begins in our Government Affairs/Economic Development Committee with staff assistance. The committee produces a draft paper that is then reviewed, and perhaps amended, by the Chamber's Executive Committee prior to submission to our Board. Content of this document centers on major policy positions as well as reaction to selected positions in similar packages from the Arlington County Board and the Arlington Public Schools.
